Our Mission
The Foster Care Assistance and Advocacy Foundations exists to enrich and enhance the lives of current and former foster care children. Based on The Founders experiences and disturbing foster care statistics, the FCAA Foundation partners with the community to address the multiple needs of current and former foster children that go beyond the need for wellness and safety.
The programs are designed to help reduce the traumatic experience a child feels when they enter the foster care system; enrich and enhance the lives of children while in foster care; prepare the youth for college and create a successful transition from foster care to adulthood.

FOSTER CHILD SUPPORT PROGRAM​​

The program is designed to enrich and enhance the lives of foster children and the ability of foster families to meet the needs of their foster children. The programs assists foster parents with welcome packages for new foster kids and provide resources for children to be involved in extra curricular activities such as summer camps.

FOSTER ATHLETE SUPPORT PROGRAM​​
​
For some, sports can be a great emotional outlet and a path to college. This program provide resources and emotional support for foster youth athletes who want to participate in a sport. The support can range from rides to practices/games to assisting with sports training and camps.
DESIGN

YOUTH EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP​

Many foster youth exit college before graduating because of a lack of resources, either with school or an inability to maintain their everyday lives while enrolled. This program provides resources to help them stay in college.

INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS PROGRAM

​​The program assists current foster youth become independent adults. The program gives an opportunity for foster youth to learn valuable skills necessary to make a successful transition to adulthood.

COLLEGE READINESS PROGRAM

This program is designed to prepare foster children for college and provide them with tools to be successful. This program will provide tutors, SAT/ACT prep and other resources to help them prepare for the ins and out of college life.

REWRITE YOUR STORY PROGRAM

The lack of success of foster youth is a harsh reality for those who aged out. This program partners with other non-profits to identify homelessness or struggling former foster children. The program aims to find a way to break the chains of trauma that impedes their future and will provide resources for therapy, education, and independent living skills.
